FreeFrom Skincare Awards 2015

The FreeFrom Skincare Awards were founded in 2012 to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that are ‘free from’ many of the allergens, chemicals, additives and fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, and ethical, environmental and health concerns. The results are in JustBe receives 2 Bronze awards After a month-long evalutaion by testers of the Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible, we're thrilled that JustBe received 2 Bronze awards in this years FreeFrom Skincare Awards. The awards were presented at The Love Natural, Love Organic Show at Olympia on Friday 3rd July, by ‘Imperfectly Natural’ beauty and holistic health guru, Janey Lee Grace. We were up against some really big, established brands so we're delighted. We're equally delighted with the feedback that we received from the tester panel. We'll share some of the comments from our shortlisted products in our next newsletter.  JustBe Makeup Remover "Unbelievable! So quick & easy to use. A gentle wipe & my eyes & lashes were sparkling clean & moisturised in one go. It felt soft & gentle on my skin & didn't need more than a wipe or two to be finished. It took thick mascara, eyeliner & makeup off my eyes with just a drop of product & left no traces. My skin looked & felt smooth & clean as well as feeling moisturised. My lashes looked thicker after a month because I don't rub them anymore. My skin looked smooth & moisturised. I loved it & will buy it again.  Perfect product: it does what it says without fuss. I loved the ingredients all pure with no chemicals. A little goes a long way so the canister will last for ages & can then be recycled without a load of extra packaging. The money goes into the product not the waste. This is a little gem." "It certainly delivered from day one. I would certainly buy it again. Nothing to improve. It is extremely effective and does not leave a feeling of a "filmy eye" as some eye make up remover products do. I think it is the best eye make up remover I have ever used." "Absolutely love the ingredients and so did my skin." "This was a lovely product to test and I felt that it was a high end market eye makeup remover - a real treat. I loved the fact that it was not greasy and would say that this is the best feature of the product. A pleasure to test and use! The remover has somegorgeous ingredients such as jojoba oil, geranium oil, vitamin E. Lots of goodness!Non drying and therefore lovely and moisturising, you feel like your skin hasn't been stripped of it’s natural oils. I feel it is good value for money as such products are definitley worth paying that little extra for!" JustBe Cleansing Gel "A lovely light fresh fragrance of pink grapefruit and mandarin, I thought it had a gentle uplifting scent, my son who is testing as part of the family category thought it smelled like sweets, he also found the scent very pleasant indeed! My son said his skin felt very clean after using, and I thought his skin looked much fresher and clearer. Only a very small amount is needed, barely a squirt. This product was very quick and easy for my son to rinse off. Skin was left feeling fresh, clean and hydrated with no tightness.No reaction or sensitivity." "Very easy to apply - didn't run through my daughter's hands - gel like texture which she liked. The texture is neither too runny not too thick - Meg says it's 'just right'. The fragrance is subtle but citrussy - a clean and natural scent that isn't too overpowering. My daughter likes this a lot. My daughter says that she was perfectly happy with the cleansing properties - she only needed one application to remove a light foundation and eye make-up; surprisingly the cleanser didn't sting when removing eye makeup so this is a big big bonus. My daughter says that her skin felt great after using this product - there was no dryness at all, and given she is prone to eczema this is quite impressive. She said that her skin felt softer and given that she's 13 yrs old that's quite an accolade! My daughter would like me to buy the product on a regular basis - and I must admit I'm very pleased that she liked this product so much - she can be very fussy. Love the ergonomic feel of the dispenser and container - nice and chunky - certainly perfect for my daughter. I personally really like the scent as well as the clean ingredients. Good to find a cleansing product that is light but effective." "My son's skin is at that typical pre-puberty stage where his cheeks are still baby soft but his nose is errupting into a festering mess waiting to happen….open pores, blackheads and small angry looking blemishes. Twice a day he used this, especially concentrating on his nose. The effects of this gel are clearly visable....blackheads have reduced in size and number, open pores are all gone and the blemishes are much calmer looking. His skin looks much clearer, brighter and healthier. Skin is looking much cleaner and calmer with no dryness. I would buy this for my son again. A general good all round cleanser for all types of skins especially effective on young hormonal skin."
